Conceptualization and Inspiration
It all begins with the foundational idea of modularity. The inspiration for the Kubic collection is born from brutalis and architectural design principles, seeking to transform rigid, angular forms into wearable objects of desire that adapt to the body's movement. The initial challenge was figuring out how to make a form as inherently static as the cube feel dynamic and elegant on the wrist.
Technical Sketching and Engineering
As reflected in the technical blueprints, the design process was extremely meticulous. This was not just about aesthetics, but about precision engineering. Each cubic bead, whether crafted from Lapis Lazuli, Black Onyx, or precious metal, was designed with exact tolerances to allow for a perfect "stacking" configuration. Extensive research was done on internal mechanisms and hidden pins to ensure that, when combined, the collection maintained an uninterrupted visual flow.

Lapis Lazuli was selected for its pyrite veining, which evokes a starry night sky, while Black Onyx was chosen for its deep, understated, sober shine. These raw materials are contrasted with 18k yellow gold, black rhodium, and sterling silver, creating a timeless, robust color palette that reinforces the collection’s structural design.
